THE PROBLEM
Billion-dollar corporations and the politicians who side with them are fighting to protect a law that makes it extremely hard for workers to form a strong union.
Wealthy interests and their lobbyists fiercely defend the rigged system that keeps workers quiet and funnels profits to the top instead of the people who actually do the work.
Meanwhile, Colorado working families are being squeezed by the rising cost of housing, healthcare, groceries, and child care, and without strong unions, they don’t have a level playing field.
OUR POLICY
The Worker Protection Act will restore a basic freedom – to be able to join together and form a union without being threatened, fired, or blocked by a second election.
It will level the playing field so workers can finally speak up about wages, safety, and stability without fear, and put Colorado in line with the rest of the country.
